About
The Alex Surf Club has been running its community education program since 2002.

The program aims to provide community members including tourists, the skills and knowledge to interpret the ocean and the variable conditions they may encounter.
​
Our teaching includes a strong practical component which teaches participants the skills and confidence to assist others who may experience difficulties in the water.
School Groups
We specialise in creating the perfect program for you and your school group. Our instructors are all highly qualified and experienced in dealing with children of all ages and from all backgrounds.

Whether you are after an educational program to teach the skills required to revive somebody, the action and fun of a surf carnival run just for you or something in between we can provide the people and equipment to make it happen.

Corporate Groups
If you want to upskill your employees, improve the safety of your workplace or simply give your staff a fun-filled hour or two at the beach, we can provide the program you need.
​
For our corporate groups, we use only our most senior staff to ensure that your company employees are learning from the best.
Sessions range from surfing and surf awareness to hands-on use of rescue equipment both in and out of the water.
