Nutri-Grain 2021: Wrap-Up

Well the Nutri-Grain is done and dusted with 6 massive rounds in 17 days with outstanding results for our Alex competitors who made the Black and Gold proud.

Congratulations Lana Rogers, Emma Woods, Tayla Halliday and Cooper Williams, four members of our Club competing at the highest level of their sport, well done.

Lana Rogers, 4 wins and 2 seconds to be crowned overall champion what an achievement.

Emma Woods a race podium on day 1 and then overall 6th in the series closely followed by Tayla Halliday in overall 8th position which means all three are qualified for next year which is awesome.

It was fantastic watching these four young athletes live on national television represent the Alex brand and remind us all lifesaving, surf skills and developing youth is the business we are in.

It also begs the question with so many juniors coming through via our volunteer coaches who will be next??

Well done to our Head Coach Jack Hansen and his team for an awesome result.
