Youth Officer Report

I was selected to be a member of the Coordination team for the Sunshine Coast Branch Camp Commando which was held in Mapleton from 14-17 January. This program is the biggest of its kind, hosting 120 13-15 year old participants, 30 leaders and mentors and 5 coordinators over the four day program. This year we had 13 participants and 4 leaders get accepted onto the program. We did a variety of team building, personal development, pathways and overall fun activities all in the aim to develop both our participants and our leaders into strong young adults.

All of our Alex members were incredible and did us extremely proud. They handled the difficulties with grace, never stopped smiling and showed courage, team work and eagerness.
