Seahorse Nippers 23rd November
Seahorse Saturday No.1
Saturday 23rd November saw us hit the beach and water for our first session of Seahorses for the season. We were lucky to have awesome weather as some 44 Seahorses came out to play. This was a record number for us and we’re so lucky that we had some many amazing members put their hands up to come and play. The water conditions proved to be just too inviting and most of our Seahorses spent the entire hour in the water. Even Olivia’s Seahorse Bec, who never swims, she just likes to walk, wanted in the water this time, and that was fantastic to see.
We had at least 15 new Seahorses who experienced what we have to offer for the first time and we understand from the parents reactions that they had the “best time”. Lots of “can’t wait until next time”. So very many requests from parents too who wanted to know if they could have the same volunteers next time as who they had this morning. Hopefully you can all come again and we are able to offer up a similar, fabulous experience.
Our next Seahorse Saturday is the 7th December. We’re currently trying to recruit a new Santa as ours have graciously retired. If you would like to volunteer your time to be the most popular man on the beach, please let me know soon. Next week is creeping up and we’ll begin the volunteer recruiting process this weekend. If you haven’t had a chance to help out yet, please do yourself a favour and come and join us next Saturday 7th December. It’s the most fun session of them all and you won’t be disappointed. Great start to 300 Club day!
Drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’d like to help out.
