SOS ‘Support Our Savers’ 2018 Fundraising Appeal (Monday 15th - S

This year we asked via email volunteers to ‘rattle’ the red and yellow during the SLSQ promotion week-long membership fund raising effort.

All donations collected went towards the Clubs much needed lifesaving resource upkeep and purchase.

Again, Lisa Binet, generously gave her support letting us collect donations at the Nambour McDonalds drive through for the whole week. This venue was again very busy breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. On the weekend, there was a constant stream of traffic, day and night. A few hours standing ‘rattling the tin’ there through the week delivered generous support.

Stan Borchard, Publican, The Woombye Hotel, invited us to canvas donations from his patrons Friday evening and again on the Saturday. Walking up Woombye’s main street, Blackall Street, on the busy Saturday morning collecting donations and the yellow and black colours were home at its 1924 foundation location.
