Boaties Update

EKO Financial, Jeff Ebsworthy recently sponsored a trailer for the master's competitors, Mako Diving Solutions renovated it, so now it looks brand new. The master's rowers will greatly appreciate how much easier it is to use this new, lighter trailer. There has been a regular running group on Saturdays for 6 weeks. Some crews have begun full training, some are only doing gym and will start rowing in August. We will be having a 2-day carnival at Alex on January the 12th & 13th. There will be a get together in the Bluff on both nights, so all interested are encouraged to attend.

I have been having come and try days at the spit on weekends. 14 yr old SRC's have been coming to have a look at rowing. They can’t race this year, but we can get them going ready to race next year. I’ll send information to the office when we have more of them indicating times etc.

Lastly, the brand new fully sponsored H&H Air Conditioning surf boat is being constructed and will be on the water by September. That is now $80,000 in 4 years H&H Air Conditioning has committed to Alexandra Headland. They are an incredible sponsor of this section, and I can’t thank Nick enough.
