Robert Poppleton was Club Captain from 1961 to 1963 and held several positions in the Club over his years of service. He gained his Bronze Medallion in 1950 and was very actively involved with the training of members both in Brisbane and at the Coast for many years.

 

Robert was awarded Life Membership in 1966 for his services to the Club.
