Rex Langford joined the Club as a nipper parent in 1988 and gained his Bronze Medallion in 1992. He was the Club President from 1994 to 1997. He was a foundation member of the Alex Supporters Club as well as being a Director for three years and President of the Supporters Club.

Rex was also Club Captain from 1994 to 1997 and was named the Club Life Saver of the Year in 1995. He was a very hard working committed member of the Club up until his move to live in Victoria in the early 2000’s.

He was awarded Life Membership in 2008 for his outstanding service to the Club.
