Ray joined the Club in 1966 and gained his Bronze Medallion in 1967. He was Clubhouse Director in 1970, Gear Steward in 1988-1989, Junior Activities Chairman from 1989 to 1991 and Junior Vice President from 1990 to 1993. He was a Junior Branch Team Coach from 1992 to 1994 and also a Branch Delegate.

 

He was a National Junior Life Saving Officer from 1994 to 1997 and he was a foundation member of the Supporter’s Club. He was awarded Life Membership in 1999 for his services.
