Noel Kelk joined the Club in 1956 and became a long serving and dedicated lifesaver, Surf Sports competitor and Branch Official. Noel was also one of the early Crewmen in the inaugural Sunshine Coast helicopter rescue service.

 

He is a Life Member of the Sunshine Coast Branch, Surf Life Saving Queensland and Surf Life Saving Australia. He was awarded Life Membership of the Club in 1976 for his sustained and outstanding service as well as being made a Life Governor in 1994.
