Lorraine Bhuk first became involved with the Club in 1953. Lorraine has been actively involved in most aspects of the Club and was the Club Administrator for eighteen years. In her latter years she became actively involved in the Sunshine Coast Branch as an Official, and held the position as Director of Finance for the Sunshine Coast Branch.

 

She has made considerable contribution to Club events, fundraising, Junior Activities and lifesaving generally and was recognised with a 50 Year Service Award. She is a Life Member of the Sunshine Coast Branch and was awarded Life Membership of the Club in 1985 as the first non-Bronze Medallion holder and the first female Life Member.
