Jack Wilkes joined the Club in 1929 and went on to gain his Bronze Medallion in 1934. Jack was an active member up until World War 2 following which time he joined the Australian Navy and was also drafted into the US Navy.

Jack’s service to the Club resumed after 1949 and he was a great supporter of the Club. He was awarded Life Membership of the Club in 2002 for his conspicuous service over almost 70 years.
