Horrie Robertson joined the Club and gained his Bronze Medallion in 1948. He became Club Captain in 1968 and Club President from 1970 to 1974. In his early years he was an active competitor and held other positions on the Management Committee, as well as being a very active instructor. During his time as President he was very much involved in a variety of fundraising activities and was the inaugural President of the Nipper Club, a position he held for five years.

 

He was awarded Life Membership in 2005 for his service to the Club.
