Evan Eyre McNall was a driving force behind the establishment of the Club in 1924. He was a foundation member and went on to become the first President of the Club a position he held from 1924 until 1955, some 31 years. He was  the longest serving President of Alexandra Headland SLSC.

 

He was awarded Life Membership in 1950 for his outstanding service to the Club.
