Doug joined the Club in 1998 as a Nipper Parent and went on to gain his Bronze Medallion in 1999. He became an active patrolling member in 1999 and continued as an active member at the time of his Life Membership award. He also gained some 39 awards during his period of service. Doug has served on several Club Committees and has been actively involved in March Past and other competitions. Doug was Cadet Officer of the Club in 2006/2007. He was recognized with awards for his service as a Patrol Captain on several occasions and was named the Best Club All- rounder in 2013. He has always helped with club activities especially with Club training, fund raising and Club projects.

 

Doug was awarded Life Membership in 2018 for his sustained and conspicuous service.
