Bronwyn Champness joined the Club and gained her Bronze Medallion in 1995. She went on to gain numerous awards and hold several positions in the Club including Training Officer, Club Captain from 2004 to 2008, Surf Life Saving Officer for 2003-2004, Member of the Lifesaving Committee and Club Team Manager. In 1999, 2002 and 2004 she was named the Most Outstanding Member and was the Club Life Saver of the Year in 2005. As an  active lifesaver and official Bronwyn has undertaken numerous responsibilities for and on behalf of the Club. She also has managed Branch and State Teams.

 

She was awarded Life Membership in 2011 for her sustained and outstanding contribution to the Club.
