Ben Day joined the Club in 1973 as an Associate Member. He gained his Bronze Medallion in 1982. He held the position of Club Registrar from 1979 to 1982 and was Radio Officer from 1982 until 1992. He was also  heavily involved in the Sunshine Command Radio Centre for fourteen years. Ben was Club Treasurer for five years during the period from 1982 to 1991.

 

Ben was awarded Life Membership of the Sunshine Coast Branch in 2005 and was awarded Life Membership of the Club in 1993 for his services.
