Neil Grimshaw joined the Club as a nipper and was a very accomplished nipper member. He went on to gain his Bronze Medallion in 1971 and subsequently obtained numerous awards. He has been a very proactive and prominent, active lifesaver in the Club and was named the Club’s Most Outstanding Patrol Captain in 2007. He has also been Club Vice Captain and also involved in competition at all levels. Neil has given a considerable contribution through his active involvement in lifesaving, coaching, training and competition.

He was awarded Life Membership in 2011 for his outstanding contribution to the Club.
