Membership covers the period from the 1st of October until the 30th September. The surf lifesaving season runs from September through to early May.
Online membership (Join/Renew)
If you have not done so before then please register on the members portal by clicking here.

Once registered click on 'My memberships' and then on the renew link. From there please fill out the registration form.
Please pay your membership fees online via the secure Surf Life Saving Payment Gateway and provide the following:
• choose 'Membership Fee' from the Transaction menu;
• check the price list dropdown menu to see the amount to pay
• enter your name and a description of what you’re paying for e.g. Family Membership Fee (this is important for receipting your payment);
• enter the amount;
• enter your name, contact details and an email address and click the Submit button; and
• enter your credit card details
You will receive a receipt via email. Please keep the receipt for your records.
If you are a renewing member please sign the Policy Agreement Form
New members need to sign the Anti Discrimination and Sexual Harassment Policy & the Code of Conduct for members, and read the Social Media Policy.
It is a requirement of SLSQ that all members over the age of 18 years complete and lodge a Blue Card (Working with Children) application. If your card is expired or is near expiry please complete the Volunteer Blue Card Application & Renewal Form and return to the Club office.
All members under the age of 18 must have a Parental Consent & Medical Details form completed and signed by their parent/guardian.

We have a number of membership categories available with the emphasis firmly placed on family involvement and active participation. Children aged 14 years and under must join under the umbrella of a Family Membership. Persons over 14 years not covered by Family Membership must join as Active Cadet, Active Junior, Active Senior, or Probationary Members. These categories require members to complete Surf Life Saving awards and perform Patrol duties.
Associate membership is available and nipper parents are usually joined in this category. Parents of nippers are encouraged to become active members. It is a great way to get to know more people in the Club. There are many advantages to active membership. These include improved fitness, use of gymnasium, use of Club boards and skis, discounts in the Supporters Club and providing water safety for your own children.
